Barry Howard was an electrician for many years in various coal mines in the Hunter Valley including Hebburn No. 2 Colliery at Kurri Kurri, Northern (Rhondda) Colliery near Teralba, and Saxonvale Mine near Broke.
As a professional photographer, he has captured many images of people and places associated with the coal industry, and we are very grateful that he has agreed to share them with the world via Living Histories @ UON.
